Baja plants ID help
#1 just bought this one in Loreto - anyone know the name of this fern ?

this one grows really fast - someone gave it to me ...ID ??
#3 This one just started growing....the lower photo is of a flower it just produced
#4 and this one is called PONEDORA cause it has the "eggs" which hold the seeds. The egg is white when new and with time turns yellow. Odd but
exquisite and I'd love to know what it is:

Cardboard Palm - Zamia furfuracea is the top photo
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

McFez is right on for the name of #1. A couple of interesting things about the cardboard palm. It is a prehistoric plant, with much the same look
as it had in the dinosaur days. Second, there is no part of it that is not poisonous. The little red berries it gets are the worst, for kids and
pets because they look good to eat. However, many plants have at least some parts that are not edible.

The 2nd one is a somewhat rare houseplant but the name escapes me---i think its a Euphorb of some kind though---break off a leaf and if the sap is
milky its likely in the Euporbiaceae.
The third I'll take a stab at as being a Solanum (nightshade) since the flower looks tomato-like (Solanaceous).
The 4th photo isn't showing up---says photobucket deleted.....

thanks mcfez and marinero - seems like a lot of plants are very poisonous ...
mexitro - the rare houseplant is indeed milky. It grow so fast you can almost measure it on a daily basis. Any branch I plant takes off - which is
kinda fun too.
The last one is the ponedora plant above ... when I google ponedora, nothing comes up. the "egg" is very white and with time turns this bright
yellow. the lady who sold it to me says the seeds are inside ... we shall see !

That looks like a Solanum/Nightshade as well (note the resemblance to eggplant, which is in the tomato family...)
