Lodging in La Paz
Planning a week's stay in La Paz from 11/5 to 11/12, any new ideas on a place to stay. Looking for something for about 60-75 a day max. Thanks

I like this place.....

The restaurant is good but a little pricy, it has good WiFi and it's quiet except on weekend afternoons when they bring a bus load of school kids in
to use the pool.
Things are expensive, but at least we get a free trip around the sun once a year

I recommend you take a look at Casa Buena,
http://www.casabuena.net/
Run by the two genuinely nice, personable people, Milton and wife Suze. Fabulous public use palapa cabana with full kitchen, PC for internet, big
fire place, dining table, plenty of places to lounge around and a big screen TV. Grounds have plenty of parking, whole compound is gated (stucco
concrete wall), has a pool, all very secure. So relaxed and comfortable an atmosphere, your blood pressure will drop 20 points after the first 24
hours.

We just stayed at the Club El Moro. Located on the malecon, East end. Great pool.
Our rate was $81usd for a standard room. However, the rate included a full breakfast at their restaurant. So, I figure that was good for $15-$20.

there's another lovely place called TUSCANY BAJA B&B - a friend stayed there and loved it .... great owner Carol and great location near malecon.
The least expensive room is $85 for double accupancy.

I also vote for Club El Moro; although it's not smack in the cetner of things, it's close enough and they have a great pool and lots of lush grounds.
Sadly, the Los Arcos Hotel & Cabanas were still closed when we drove by on Sunday (10/30) and there is no sign that they are near re-opening, even
though they do still have a website. If they ever do re-open we'll stay with them again since both were our favorite places to stay in La Paz.

A tip about the El Moro-
You can actually book a standard room through Expedia for $65 per night. However, that rate does not include breakfast.
We learned about that sitting next to a couple at breakfast who did not have the coupon from the front desk for the complimentary breakfast. We did a
walk-in and paid $81, and got the coupons.
So, it's your choice.

Blanca, what's the parking situation at the Tuscany B&B? Is it street parking, or do they have off-street and/or secured parking?
Thank you.
