INAPAM (old age card) bus discount change?
just this week I took the Tufesa line bus from Guaymas to Phoenix, AZ. in the past, I have gotten the senior discount with my INAPAM card. this time
I was told I had to pay full price. the clerk was rushed, rude, and spoke very fast. I was not able to understand why the change despite my asking.
the posted signs above her head still listed INAPAM rates.
anyone else run into this? has there been a general change? could this be an individual bus line change?
guess no one knows, am editing to put the more common name for the card in the title...

There are only two INAPAM seats on each bus.

are you serious? I've never heard this. and I've never had a problem getting a senior ticket. until last week. but if the seats are limited, I
guess that would make sense.

We just used the Inapam card in Mexico City to take the bus and there were 4 of us who used the Inapam card, we made reservations on line
and it showed 8 spaces on each bus for the Inapam card, it was 1/2 cost of full fare.
This was on October 16th.

Does anyone know how and where to get a card in Loreto?

I got mine at the DIF building on Benito Juarez. at that time they only issued them two months a year, I think Dec and January or something like
that. that was a, uh, few years ago so things may have changed. check with them for current requirements. it was pretty easy...copy of passport,
FM2 or 3, electricity bill or water bill or such to prove residence, a couple photos of the 'infantile' size.

I certainly know where Benito Juarez is, but where is the “DIF” building? Is it the police station almost to the Malacon (sic?) on the south side?
Thanks for your help,
