Hmmmmmm. Not sure. I heard licensing agreements prohibit US users to use their accounts in Mexico. Every time I'm down there I try Netflix and it
never works.

to get netflex usa from the mex dsl in mulege
use a proxy server
like:
https://www.goldenfrog.com/vyprvpn;jsessionid=1k2c6597h2e83?...
then netflex thinks you are in the usa and won't change or stop your download

If you go to netflix.com and sign up and you have a usa account, they just say welcome, hope you are enjoying your new location, please pay 99
pesos/month to continue your service. Out of maybe 50 movies in the last 2 months only 2 were in Spanish only, others give you a choice of audio and a
choice of subtitles if you want. It seems that all, or at least most, movies available in the usa are available here.

Check the LPG postings (LA PAZ GRINGOS). They had an extensive thread on the subject including reviews.
p.s. over the past 60 days.

Netflix in San Felipe
Looks like I might be able to receive Netflix here in San Felipe. I had it this summer in California and then discontinued as we were returning home.
Then last week I get this email asking me to come back and quoting a price in Pesos. Obviously they looked at my IP address. Hopefully my screen
print comes attached to this message?

Netflix streaming is crap. they do not have enough servers or reserved bandwith to service prime time. i am SO tired of their buffering or saying my
service is "slow" - it ain't, i have premium DSL speed all the time.
i cancelled the mail service when they jacked the $$ up, and now i am cancelling the streaming service too. Plus the selections were crappy too, at
least for movies - and i am not interested in their range of TV show repeats.
thumbs down for me. I can't imagine how it might be better in mexico.

I signed up for the one month free trial. It prompted me right away to connect our Wii game console. Within ten minutes I was watching NetFLix on
our 60" LED TV (instead of the computer screen). TelNor internet service with wireless modem connected to the Wii by WiFi. No problem there. The
problem was there was nothing I wanted to watch- so I'll likely bail out before the free trial expires.

Mike,
Were on Cox, and have had only one interruption in streaming. Have to agree on the inventory. You really have to wade through a lot of crap to find
something watchable. Can't say if I'll stick with it long term.

hi Ken - yes, as you recall i WAS a fan at 1st.
but then i found more and more i couldn't watch on my schedule due to their delivery problems.
i think COX with their higher speed and bandwidth avail as a hard wired dig cable system might work better than sat dish - i can get say 14 megs per
second on my package or pay more - i think Cox here offers up to 100 megs but you pay for it.
i'm back to blockbuster - cheap rates by mail, fairly new movies and i can exchange for shelf titles at an outlet 1.5 miles away.

Works great here in Mulege on DSl, no buffering, true streaming. A sat.connection will always be a problem as they throttle the download and there is
a lag. At least Dish did. Right now I'm connected at 1.25 Mbps according to speedtest.net That is the slowest and it still streams smoothly. My speed
varies from 1 -3 Mbps
If you are careful you can watch anything for free on wares sites like tv shack and free tv sites, but watch what you click!

Get a little program called "tunnelbear" $4.99 per month. It hides where you are and you can stream Netflix just as in the US. Same goes for Pandora
Radio etc...
