moderate La Nina SST pattern this fall/ winter
'We are expecting a moderate La Nina SST pattern this fall/ winter period, peaking in strength by January, then weakening afterward and into summer
2012. This is combined with some other important factors, like a cold PDO. There are some analog years that we have used to compare to. ..'
What does this mean for Baja weather this winter?

Colder air and water. Below normal precipitation... depends on what kind of fishing....will be good for our our normal pinto bass etc... probably
lousy for the tuna etc

All the fish in Asuncion will leave and head south for the winter. Cabo is what I heard. The osprey and other birds will soon follow... and then
maybe the Canadians as well. who knows?

Whatever. Blame the lack of fish on the weather. That'll work.

Cabo? Nah---fish around Asuncion just are not into the Disco scene.
But here is an Osprey working to lighten his load in preparation for his trip to Cabo.
