No, this is not legal in AZ or NM. Of course I didn't KNOW that when I did it. Its like when the coyote runs off of a cliff but doesn't fall until he KNOWS it....
Pulled just fine from Dixon, NM to Flagstaff, AZ and even at 57' in length and who knows total weight I still got 13 mpg doing 65. YMMV. H.

Many many years ago when I was "looking around" on the east cape, I came across a converted Greyhound bus. It was one of those, 'scenicruisers' styles. Texas plates if I remember right. Was towing a pickup and the pickup was towing a trailer with toys on it or was that a boat. memory is getting bad.

No. Slid right through. Had I been stopped, I would have pulled the Chevy off of the flatbed, tied the white cargo trailer onto it and had the wife drive it.... H.
