Got Snow?

We're hoping to find a bit of the cold, white stuff to play in this winter.
Just a touch of it for the pure fun of it-- don't want to spoil that 365-day suntan!

Anyone know when San Pedro Martir gets frosted?
Is the approach road cordoned off-limits seasonally?
Anywhere else to find snow without crossing the border and heading to Big Bear?

If you look at the observatory web cam, it usually is pointed west along the road... If there is snow up there (at 9,280 feet ASL), you will see it! (update, the web cam is not working, it seems)

Thanks, David.
That's some beautiful country.
You sure go to some cool places!

Hope to hear more about winter conditions in Baja Norte.

Astrobaja, you 'round?

Thanks... I haven't been up to the observatories since 2000, but want to take Baja Angel there! Photos above are from the web site links I posted.

Here are my photos of the July 2000 Baja trip: http://www.vivabaja.com/davidlorenzo/index.html
