Louisiana/Mississippi seafood is choice and less expensive than Baja seafood. Will
be enjoying soon.

Seems a little perverted that someone would drive from "North Idaho" to purchase overpriced seafood in the Gulf region.

Bajahowodd, Always visit my family and friends for the holidays. The seafood is just an extra, fly down, it's a pain, but it's worth it.

35 years ago two cans of Spam got me 6 lobsters at San Juanico. I was feeling generous so threw in a can of peaches as well. I was happy, fisherman
was happy.

If you are going to use a "16 oz can of something" as a spot check for a mechants scale,
you should make sure that it weighs 16oz "dry weight"
16 fluid ounces of mercury weighs more than 16 fluid ounces
of water. Density comes into play with fluids. With fluids it is a
measured volume amount. So a 16 fluid ounces of soda may not weigh the same as 16 ounces of shrimp.
A pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of lead.

In east cape the local fish guy from La Paz has all sorts of fresh fish, scallops, shrimp, clams, crab (cleaned and cooked and frozen) for way less
than those prices. Usually top quality and if a little old, he will tell you so.

the contents MUST be 16 oz (or whatever the size can is)...by US law .... The Bureau of Weights and Measures....perhaps add a 1 oz for the can
itself.
