Right out of the Oven..

Tuesday, Nov 22nd

Left Loreto early am..Road clear all the way up through BCS..Typical checkpoints were all up and running..
Construction detour north of Jesus Maria is in better shape "hardpacked after the rain"..
Construction south of Catavina is going good..Road is good and smooth for the first time in many years.. Southbound traffic was heavy with RVs and alot of people on bikes doing the "Ironman Trek" south..
Construction south of Ensenada is moving slow..and so are the big trucks moving through the area..
The Federal Police look to have a new checkpoint south Manadero checking car resgistrations/ paperwork on southbound traffic...
Construction on the "middle section" of the Tecate road is in full speed..a little mud in areas from the rain..
Hwy 1 Tecate turnoff to Tecate was 1hr 15min..15mins getting through all the stop signs and drove right up to the US Border agent at 6pm Tuesday..
"Welcome back to the United States..Go Ahead"
