Jet skis

Can jet skis, seados (spelling) be used in the Sea of Cortez, such as Bahia Conception, Bahia de Los Angeles? A family member ask this question.
I know there has been some concern re. pollution.

Irresponsible advice Pablo- everyone knows the danger in Mexico is overstated, as long as you don't get involved with drugs or seadoos.

Reminds me of the discussions where I grew up in Colorado. The cross country skiers hated the snowmobiles and the hikers absolutely hated the motorcycles. And in the Sea of Cortez, the kayakers think the Skidoo crowd should be used for target practice. For years I had an ultralight airplane business and the "real airplane" guys went nuts on them.
So for your original question, are they allowed. Yes, but I strongly suggest that you do not wear jackets that have any kind of a target painted on them.

They are indeed allowed.....very few areas are restrictive to the use ...shouldnt be a problem for you.

Like any type of watercraft, jet skies are fine fun.... if used in consideration of nature and your fellow man.

Note: One thing in your favor would be to know how to swim...in case your jet ski is:

Too loud
Polluting the environment
Speeding along any shoreline
Coming to close to another watercraft or swimmers
Used to harass marine life
Operated in any reckless or dangerous manner.

bacquito...you are a safe, sane person, right? If so, you'll do fine and be welcome with your jet-ski in BOC.

Remember those guys we followed as they went down the coast and were going around the world or something and gave it up at Panama? Lot of people met them.
