Two years ago made a trip to Mag Bay (San Carlos) and bought everything sea food we could fit in our coolers. Lobster and shrimp were out of season and went to the co-op and bought frozen which came with facturas.
When crossing the check point North of La paz the soldiers looked at what we had and sent us on our way.... about two miles down the road a car sped up next to us and waved us over and checked our papers for the shrimp and lobster. Moral of the story if you are going to transport you better have papers:light:

maybe in palawan...all the other places are fished out. baja's still better.

yeah, the USA has cheaper lobsters imported from other countries and I believe the baja ones go to the orient where the prices are higher.
