More Stupid Stuff from Steve
Early the other morning, around 0400, I couldn't sleep so I was up reading in my living room. At some point, I was joined by a "moscorron," one of
those big, black bumblebees we have down here. Since I had the living room doors open, the light must have awoken him early so he came over to start
his day. I tried ignoring him for a while, but eventually worried that he might bump into me on one of his endless laps around the light fixture.
I decided to get up, turn off the light, and go into another room until he went away.
That was when I made an interesting discovery: these bumblebees can't fly in the dark. In fact, they are totally vetigo in the dark. When I turned off
the light, he would drop like lead to the floor. When I turned on the light again, he would get up and start flying around once more, only to "drop
and give me ten" at the flip of the switch.
I have to admit, it was entertaining for a while. Then I went back to bed.
There most certainly is but one side to every story: the TRUTH. Variations of it are nothing but lies.

I once did a similar thing in reverse...with a bat hanging on the rock wall next to our bed.
Co-pilot did not approve.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Don\'t mess with the old dog...... Age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery! Brilliance only comes with age and

Are you getting the most out of life OR is life getting the most out of you ??
Twenty years from now you\'ll be more disappointed by the things you didn\'t do then the things you did.

Come to think of it...... I used to do the same with the kelp flies. When they come into the house at night they're attracted to the lights. Just
turn a light on outside and the lights off in the house and they all go outside. Then close up all the screens and doors and turn the lights back on.
You're good to go.... ... ..

Brings back a fond memory to me. My daughter was very young, maybe 4 years old and her and I were watching a bumble bee fly around while I told her
about bees and said something about the large black bee is called a bumble bee because it is not a great aviator and is a cumbersome flyer. After a
time, I told my daughter, I wonder where the bee went. She told me "he bumbled away". : )
That was one of those small moments that will stay with a dad forever...

You're good to go.... ... .. | Same with bats, unwanted Co-pilotos and other undesirable things that enter the house in
the night and go bump. Turn the outside light on, open the doors and windows and give 'em the boot!
