I dont consume beer..so here's a dumb question.

Why not just bring a few cases of beer with you into Baja? Illegal or what to do?

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Si, I know Herdez is made in Ensenada. A small can of the Herdez salsas cost between .99 cents to $1.25 in San Diego. They're about 45 cents at Gigante. The other brands - and there are several - (I always buy some of each ) are between $.29-.39 cents a can. Some are more chunky - good with chips- others more sauce-like, good for cooking - makes a great huevos rancheros when camping.

I bring beer from the US cause it seems my Mexican Amigos like that been better (Grass is Greener?). I ain't about to bring pacifico down.
Funny thing is I don't drink NOB cause of my on call status for the E-Grid. This is especialy reinforced by the San Diego outage. But once I am here LOOK OUT!!!:bounce:
