What is the last thing that goes through a bug's mind when it hits the windshield?

Nice photo!!! But...are you sure it is not photoshopped??? All the merchandise seems mostly properly placed on the truck...the straps seem tight and well wrapped. Nothing appears in imminent danger of falling off.

Obviously this cannot be Mexico :tumble:

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

That pic reminds me of the Mex pickup trucks that I
see in Orange, Co. so cal, with extensions up the sides,
getting garage sale items and going to Baja
to sell at their Segundas, 2nd hand stores

I had a friend of mine almost hit a buzzard in Florida. The buzzard was attempting to avoid being hit by my friend's car and was trying to fly. In order to lighten his load the buzzard vomited. The buzzard lived and my friend's car smelled horrible

In high school (l951) I owned a 49 yellow Willys Overland Jeepster (2dr convertible) One day on the highway, a pheasant decided to fly across the road, just as I approached the same area. Jeepster 1. Pheasant 0. It hit right at the top of the windshield, and the top was up. Blood & gu~~~ (you know the rest of the story) Took two days of scrubbing with soap & water to remove the red liquid part. And the windshield didn't crack. Amazing tough little car. Such fond memories of this car, I'd love to know where there was another one. If priced right, I'd buy it.

Interesting thread!

I hit a deer years ago when I lived in Miami, Florida. Didn't think much of it until about three or four days later (in the hot humidity there) something started to smell really bad when I turned on the A/C. Some deer meat had rotted on my radiator, and stunk really bad. It was not fun cleaning it up!

The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.
