RV campground in Ensenada.
Hi everyone,
I need to stay overnight in Ensenada with my 26 foot RV and small utility trailer.
I want to be able to leave the motorhome and take a cab in the morning to a short meeting with my notario on Avenida Lopez Mateos.
Any suggestions for a safe place to stay? I don't really need hookups, but will use them if they are there.
How does one go about getting a cab? My spanish speaking is adequate, but I don't know how to whistle in spanish.
Thanks for your help.

The entrance to the Navy base is on Costero Blvd. Across the street, on the other side of the Pemex station is one of the very few RV parks in town.
It's safe to leave your rig there....just lock up.
Don't know where on First [L M] you want to go, but if you're in good shape, you can walk there.

That's the place, Sancho. We should mention that it's right across the street from Tutti Donas which has those steamy hot Apple Fritters early in the
mornings. YUMMY

Yes, very nice. Might be hard to take a cab to meet his Notario in town from there.

This place, "La Playa ??", appeared closed last spring. Or, it's gotten really funky and run down. Didn't actually turn in to check for sure. Just
looked from near the Pemex and decided to head up Hwy 3 to Sordo Mudo.

I stayed at one two years ago that was across from Cazuelas Restarant. It was ok and I was able to walk into town from there, probably 1 mile.

La Playa is in town.
King's Coronita is at the north edge of town....not in walking distance to fun 'n games.
Estero Beach is way out of town...five miles from Anthony's.
I don't know what any of them have for showers.

Don't know la playa. Estero has showers and bathrooms in the park. Coronita used to, but they rent a lot of long-term spaces now, so I don't know any
longer. They are right next to the Coral (north side).
What about Papagayo? They used to have spaces?

I have stayed here numerous times. Safe, secure, great enviornment, restaurant, showers, hot tub/pool for RV guests, a real luxery place.
Go to the office and the concierge will get you a cab. Leave your stuff safetly monitored by 24/7 guards. I have taken cabs downtown from here many
times, it is not expensive to do so.
