Course Changes for SCORE San Felipe 250

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/511/12200/Motorcycle-Article/C...

We enjoy watching the SCORE races. We usually go to the 500 and camp north of Erendira. Never been to a 250. Where would be a good place to camp the night before and watch the racers go by the next day?

For early action many people, I mean lots, go to the zoo road crossing and it can be a zoo. Take the KM181 turnoff. Later you can head west to Morelia Junction and catch them coming in from Diablo dry lake. Further north there are three accesses to the race course off hwy5. At KM172, at KM168 this is across from a house/rancho called El Moreno. This was a really good spot several years ago when I was there. Several cars and trucks flipped on a lip over a ditch. The last one on hwy5 is at KM159 and until the course notes are posted I am assuming this access road is before the race course turns into the new canyon.

Thanks TW! Just what I was looking for. Time to get out the maps. I think we'll spend several days in the San Felipe area.

I enjoyed watching at the Sulfur Mine a few years ago... some big dips make the racers fly!

Just saw the new map... no sulfur mine or much of the old Puertecitos road this time!
