San Nicolas' question
Does anyone know if Chuy Baustida is still living and working at San Nicolas' BCS?

Chuy is still in San Nicolas.
They are having his 52 birthday party today at Doug's.

I just located a Photo of Chuy taken 37 years ago when Enrique Murillo, Chut and I went fishing one day at San Nicholas. He is holding up the very
first big Dorado that I caught.
If you see him tell him I sure remember him when he was 14 years old.

Nice . Thanks for that. I am planning on taking my truck down it (no
problem there), but it will have the addition of a camper, and I would be happier if it didn't fall apart on the way.

Go slow take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to go 18 KM and you are there.
Terry has a nice camping area behind his beach front palapa.
But the fishermen - vargas - has the beach so full of shark heads and parts, it's pretty dirty and stinky around there anymore.

Lots of very sharp grade changes on the road; like sharp, angled vados. A pick-up camper should make it on your truck with a little patience in spots
but a camp trailer would be pretty sketchy.

We brought a 27' motorhome in here last year no problem. Just slow.
Stow everything and anchor everything down.
It's really nice once you get here~!!!!!!
Fishing is supposed to pick up this week.
One bunch caught 22 jurel the 31st of January and another bunch caught 40 that day.
And the shark guys brought in the 2 great whites the week before that.
