INAPAM Senior Discount Cards

Anyone using INAPAM Senior Discount Cards lately?

Am wondering if they are worth the trouble and about businesses actually giving the discounts.

Any input?

Aeromexico offers a 15% discount.

Water bills 50%.

Prescription drugs at Walmart 10%, I think.

water bills for sure.
Loreto...very limited use. I hear ISSTE has a day when you get a discount on your entire purchase but don't know which day that is. also pharmacies, but small percentage. I don't bother locally.
the two bus lines here, 50% discount. usually fine. there are only a limited number of seats/bus, but I have only run into that once, on the mainland
if you plan any travel on the mainland, FREE admission to all government type museums/archeological sites, etc. wonderful. and private ones usually give 10-20% (La Paz museum too)
worth the trouble? easy peasy when I did it a few years ago. (always subject to change) take in FM2/3 and copy, proof of residence such as water bill, three infantile photos, front only (they take ones you print up on your computer, too, just has to be the right size), they type it out on the spot at the DIF building.
for other discounts, like restaurants or hotels, check with the place. Oasis for example has a discount card for residents.

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Bus transportation is 50% off and a great way to see mexico for short and long distances. The Copper Canyon train is 50% off, too. Plus the other discounts mentioned. There is no compelling reason NOT to get it as it only takes a few minutes and it is free.
