looking for beach cabin near mulege

Hey nómads. I am enroute for a night near mulege. Looking for a cozy place on the beach to stay. Maybe close but a little further south. Any ideas? Would also like to have a little fire on the beach and grill some shrimp.

Any other recommendations are welcomed.

Thanks

I think that the ambience at Playa Buenaventura would lend itself to a good night on the beach complete with grilled shrimp, Margaritas at Olivia's and Marc's, and if you need extra light you could get the guys with permitted firearms to light up the sky a little bit. Should work for Colorado people, works for me.

El Burro has Wednesday night dinner specials, oftne with entertanment. And the hostess, Celia, is always a joy to meet... and is not hard on your eyes, either. ;)

You will find a good spot with a shelter (palapa) and firepit on any of the camping beaches from Santispac to Naranjos to Playa Requeson to the south. You have many good choices...just follow your nose and you'rfe sure to have a great night on the beach.

I would suggest buying a bundle of firewood in Mulege before hitting the beach. The last tope (speed bump) before the big Pemex has 'lena' -firewood- for sale in the store on the right side. Look for the Lena sign. Better than trying to find it at the beach - Murphys Law: when you want it it won't be there.

Good luck and if you get stumped, stop by and we'll get you set up properly. Km 108. Safe travels. Pompano

p.s. You could give Oivia and Mark some business at Buenaventura Beach...listen to some stories and have some to tell yourself afterwards..just a thought to liven the diary.

Haha. I meant campfire. Had a great night at Playa naranjos. Stopped by tour neighborhood Rogelio. To say hi. Jerry says hello. Maybe next time.
