Flights to Sta Rosalia
Anyone know anything about the Airline that flies from Hermosillo to Sta Rosalia? I have heard some chatter about it on the Mulege Net,but cant seem
to get any details. My wife wants to come down and join me for a month or so.

yes it flys out of palo verde and is about 2400 pesos round trip
the plane holds about 12 people
you need aadvance (1 week) tickets
the ticket office is near the bus station and ferry office in santa rosalia
the plane lands in guymas for a few minutes to "check in" then off to hermosillo

Back in '88 I caught a ride with a private pilot from Guaymas to Punta Chivato. I remember looking down into the "crater" on tortuga island and being
disappointed --- just a lot of cactus and brush. Saw a blue whale. Way WAY bigger than the biggest humpback. How short that trip is by air and how
miserably long it is by motor vehicle once you leave the Bajas and enter Sonora.

Actually, the service listed by B and S doesnt fly from HMO to Santa Rosalia. Only HMO to Guerrero Negro.
