MLB Extra Innings on Sky?

One of my biggest concerns about moving to Baja is not being able to have the MLB Extra Innings package. I end up watching almost every single Padres game and parts of hundreds of others. Does anyone know if I can get that package on Sky? I can't even seem to find a website for those guys...

Will you have high speed internet?

You can always just go directly through MLB and buy their package. And if you have a flat panel screen with a VGA connector, you can transfer the display on your computer to the flat panel. The MLB package gives you home and away feeds for both radio and TV for every game.

I dont have a satellite service as it's not worth what they charge, IMO, and we are not big TV watchers. We do lots of reading. But we do have a Roku box (do a search) and if you sign up for the MLB package, it comes in on your Roku box, too. That's an HDMI connector out to our flat panel. Games are archived for watching a bit later and the premium service (about 125.00/year) gives you DVR controls. And if you travel and take a laptop, you can always watch or listen to MLB games where ever you can get an internet signal. No limit to where you can connect.

We pay for the 5mbs service from Telmex so we get HD quality video delivered over the internet with the Roku box or simply through the Telmex router. It's 99.00/month but that includes your land line, free phones, free wifi routers and unlimited long distance calling to the US. So, no need for MagicJack or Skype, either.

If the place you move to in La Paz has Megacable, their rates are even cheaper for high speed internet service.

Hook, thanks much for that good information. We purposefully didn't want internet at the house (we want to disconnect) so that will have to be a option only if I get desparate. I'll be sure to post here when I find out about the MLB package on Sky.
