There's one in Sto. Tomas....across the street from the gas station and restaurant.

You're a ways off the beach, however,.......maybe twenty miles, so if you want beach camping, that's something else.

Campo LaJolla

As you pass through Maneadero, take the road to La Bufadora. Go about 8 miles to Cantu. As you pass through Cantu, look for the fire station on your left. Just across from the Fire Station is LaJolla beach camp.......on the beach, showers and toilets.....fun for a couple of days!!! ....dog friendly.

a little north of Ensenada...

There is a beautiful stretch of beach directly north of La Salina marina, it looks like they have quite a few hookups there, appears to be very clean and has a restaurant and a Sunday Brunch advertised, also appears to have little places for rent there, I always wanted to try it....does anyone know more about this place??

It is a fairly nice overnight stop, if you're in a van or pickup camper. The RV sites are extremely short and tight. Parked outside and walked in before taking the plunge down the double-diamond access road. Decided that I would have to jack-knife the trailer to get it into the sites, then unhook and re-hook in the opposite direction to pull it out. And that is with a 26 ft trailer.

Which park was that? Looking for a place to overnight closer to Ensenada than the San Quintin area.

This is all that comes to mind without tking a twenty mile drive out to the coast. Run it through Google for more info.

Thanks! I also have been driving past it for years.

Checked the website Dennis listed.... There's more to it than can be seen from the road. We may have to stay an extra day there and ride a few ziplines!

When I was looking for a place around Ensenada there was a R.V. Park between The Corral Marina and Husongs Lazy Pelicen I stayed at for about 3mos. It was really nice 50anp.service and the whole deal It was owned by one of the Husongs not long after we moved here Permenantly they scooped it up, said they were going to build a Condo there. Now 9 years later its a weed infested empty lot. go figure.:?::?:
