Where did you spend your St Pat's day ?????
We are here in Mulege and for the first time ever, we spent St Pat's day at Jungla Jim's - there was a super delicious dinner and quite a crowd
gathered with lots of spirits all around.
Like I said, it was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the oasis and orchard crowd ....
we had the honor of meeting Patty/Tom Higgenbottom (???) who wrote a book way back when (hopefully they will able to get us a signed copy to buy) ...
can you believe they have been around this area since 1979? Truly amazing ....
Jerry and Cliff and Suzy have been just awesome too. Cliff has a B&B which is adorable. and he has houses to rent - the one we are in is so full
of character ...pics when we get home
onto the chili cookoff tomorrow ...

My wife and I went to a mid day Movie and then some shopping at World Market and Pier 1 Imports where we bought some new c-cktail glasses and a bowl
shaped like a Chili Pepper. That's about it on a Rainy day in San Diego.
6 a.m. Sunday, rain and wind back on again...
Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Originally scheduled to watch St Pat's parade in San Diego, but it was rained out, sooooo....first I went mall $hopping, then spent the rest of the
day having dinner with BajaBoy and family, and snuggling with grandkids while watching Willy Wonka, a complete delight.

Keeping the wood heater stoked at the homestead and looking foreward to the soon-to-be spring thaw. Staying tuned to FOX news, dinking on the
computer, and being way too lazy. Gonna do some soaking in a hot spring.

Hi Blanca
I cooked corned beef and cabbage for 87 on Wednesday at the Community Center. We passed by Jungle Jims yesterday after checking out the Orchard. I
brought 2 corned beefs here to the Santa Fe in Loreto along with 14 friends and it's reuben sanwiches tonight. Viva Saint Patrick!!!
