Splitting hairs is fine but does it matter who sets up a new roadblock? The military hangs at the airport and a logical checkpoint there wouldn't be out of the way. Always pass the military patrolling the sand dune road, as well.

What I'm addressing is dialogue bordering on bragging about bringing in food often confiscated by the ag's -- something that the military, in cohoots with the ag's -- might see as a benefit.

Maybe discussion on the ''best'' places to hide beef in a vehicle would be?

US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

No worries Lee... If you ever do have a military check point take food from you (that you didn't offer)... let us know. Maybe?

I don't cross into Baja Sur is often as you, so I depend on facts being reported here to keep Baja Nomad the best source of news on the peninsula!

Thank you!

Fact is, its amazing that some people would advertize and promote the breaking of the law, Even if they don't agree with said law. And since it was said on Nomad, it must be a fact:lol::lol:

For what it's worth at this point. We have been asked about fruits & vegetables every time we cross the steate line headed south and they have never looked after we said we had none.
