What is 'plapa 206' and what is 'CC' (I will guess Ciudad Constitucion)?
If you can see it on Google Earth, then you can put your mouse on it and read the longitude and latitude on the page.

Using DK's suggestion:
From Google Earth: 24 59' 59.95"N, 111 39' 30.65"W
Also from Google Earth: 1.49 miles south of the end of the four lane.
And then the "secret" directions: It's at KM 206!
All kidding aside, it sits right next to the highway in an open field with a big sign that says "Palapa 206". Just look out the window instead of at
the dashboard GPS.

For those interested, to add a degree symbol º, as in the first numger for a GPS waypoint (or temperature)... Hold down the Alt key and on the right
hand number keys, press: 0 1 8 6 and you get: º
24º 59' 59.95"N, 111º 39' 30.65"W

On a Mac there are a couple ways to get the degree symbol. Press option/k . Or press option/0 (that's a zero) to get º. At least that works for me.
Cheers.

Just tried it and didn't work. Search on Google gives a couple of other "Alt" numbers that do work. Alt 0176 worked as did Alt 248. This was in
WORD 2010.

Good tip David. I always wished that my laptop had that key. With my laptop there is no separate number keys so you have to activate the embeded keys
with F11. Then hit Alt 0186 and you get º.

Hi, and thanks... will I see you again at Baja Cactus???
Our next trip is mid July... I hope to show Baja Angel La Paz and more! The furthest south she has been was Loreto, San Javier and Ligui, in 2009.

I find DD easier to use. 24º 59' 59.95", 111º 39' 30.65" = 24.999986, 111.658514 but degrees, minutes, seconds looks cooler.

I have long put-off looking up that shortcut. Two ears and the tail for the tip.
