Looking for a satellite dish

Anyone know where I can get a new Shaw dish, 75cm, quad LNB, in the U.S.?

Try ebay and just have it shipped to your US address.

You can find one on e-bay Canada. Just be careful of what kind of LNB comes with the 75E. Shaw is now only selling the new triple sat lnb with the 75E. The now out of date quad duo Ku band lnb is no longer being shipped with the dish. The triple work will work well in Canada but, the third sat will not be received below the Border, the USA/Canada border. Hope this helps.

Yes I've found couple companies in Canada wanting $100 for shipping -- USPO this side -- which is more than the cost of the dish. And I'm aware the newer XKU LNB is phasing out the quad LNB. I was hoping to pick up this dish in the US.

Probably easier to pick one up in Baja than the US.

Shipping and Import out of Canada is not cheap on these dishes. For the most part, these companies are basically passing along the shipping costs.

Got one on ebay and cheapest shipping available -- which is still expensive. And I'll use it in BCS. Thanks for the feedback.

(Priced the dish shipping to a friend's address in BC and it wasn't that much cheaper. Cost of doing biz in that Country.)

Hope you got the 75 and not the 60cm.

Got the 60. Think your comment means I won't be getting a signal unless it's a 75 or bigger?

60 CM is pretty small for BCS south. You may have trouble getting enough signal from the HD sat with that one.

X2

A friend that owns a house on the Cabo Corridor installed a 60cm and had problems. A satellite tech here told him he really needed the 75. He got it and is now getting everything.
