No dry ice in BOLA.

Thanks. What's the closest place to bola, coming from the north, that has it.

For that matter, where in Baja do they sell it? Do the Ice cream vendors use it? I have not seen it in Loreto.

I am assuming you are trying to get your fish home. What has always worked for me after you have it frozen is to pack it in an ice chest that is packed with crumpled newspaper and then sealed with duct tape. I have gotten fish home after a 3 day drive in the back of my truck in the middle of summer and it was still rock hard when I arrived.

I think I'd try asking at a Pemex, or down by fishing docks in Ensanada.

Mood: must be 5 O'clock somewhere in Baja

Ice

I believe thear are two ice plants in Ensenada. I would think they would handle dry ice.

One is on the south end of town on Hwy 1 on your left side as you go down the hill towards Maneadero. The other is somewhere in town near the Santo Thomas winery complex......maybe an Ensenada Nomad could help out with better directions......
