Temp Visa

Quick question on Visa's. Over the years I always got mine at the TJ entrance and had it set up for 180 days. I'm thinking now to get it in town at Mulege bank. My question is does the bank in Mulege still do that? I want to change things up on my next trip this Saturday.........muchas gracias

I do not know about Mulege, but keep in mind that there is often a checkpoint at Guerrero Negro and they will not let you continue if you do not have a tourist card.

Nine times out of ten, when I go through GN check point, they never ask. I guess I could get it their at GN check point! Right? They still issue them?

I've heard, all too often, that when people try to get one in Ensenada, the stuff hits the fan. They make it very clear that Visas are supposed to be picked up at the border.
Of course...money talks.

Thanks Dennis. I'll check back again later to see if I get more response. The last thing I want is to have a problem on the way down taking someone who has never been. I'll just have to get it my normal way at TJ. I just may wait till later in the morning (8am to noon) when the offices are open at the secondary so I don't have to have my fiance hobble down with a bad ankel early in the morning to the 24hr office at the border gate. Ah....the path of least resistance! That will just cut my time down south by half a day. I either race down to Pta Chivato in 14 hours or leave later in the morning and stay in San Quintin.....hmmmmm?.......bob
