cheapest flight out

what is the cheapest way/flight from San Diego to Seattle.
Every one voted Volaris the best way to get from TJ to Guadalajara. Lets vote on the best way to get North.

better there

Last year the Migration guy at the border told me to learn how to spell guadalajara before going there. I waited another year/learned a little bit of Spanish. Nice there.

Airfares have become overwhelmingly high in the past few years. Thinking about going to Maui and Kauai just five years ago for around $350. Today, those same flights are hitting $800 or more.

That said, San Diego to the Pacific NW, Southwest would be the only choice.

www.kayak.com

SAN and LAX have always been relatively cheap to/from SEA. From $200 one way in mid-June, $300 return. I think the cheapest fare few years ago was $180 return, so it's not terribly bad now. We're not out of the woods yet, economy is still sh-t, fewer flyers. Alaska often comes on the top.

I just picked a date more than 14 days out toward the end of May - depending on the time of day looks as though $200 is about the cheapest flight one-way on Southwest - San Diego to Seattle. They are all cattle cars now. Jim

Yes, people from Canadian prairies fly to Los Cabos, because it's usually easier/cheaper than catching connection flight somewhere on the West Coast. From Cabo they take a bus to BCS towns all the way to St Rosa 'cause Mexican flights aren't really daily scheduled flights. There is (or supposed to be) Volaris flight from Cabo to La Paz, though it doesn't make much sense, La Paz is mere 2 hours ride by bus from Cabo. Getting from Cabo to BCN is tough.

Perfect. Pays to look around. I just picked Southwest because they were mentioned above. Jim

Jim, kayak.com is really good. You enter departure and destination, date, and click on "My dates are flexible +/- 3 days". Ex, May 23 will show the range from May 20 to May 26. $103 is the cheapest and $240 - the highest during those 6 days. Oddly, it shows now Alaska @$103 rather than Virgin. Who cares....

Sometimes I double-check with the airline directly, going to Alaska website (for example), and sometimes there is few bucks difference from Kayak, or more flights are displayed, but mostly Kayak works well. No affiliations.
