Campsites Between Cabo and Todos Santos?
Hey folks,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any decent camp sites between Caboo and Todos Santos. I'm picking up a friend at the airport and want to spend a few
days chilling before we start to explore. Somewhere on the beach preferably as we'll be surfing and kayaking. Cheers!

We used to camp at Los Cerritos just south of Pescadero, but a lot has changed there in the last few years. Don't know if you can just drive up to
the beach and set up your tent....but you can try. Last time we did that was about 7 years ago.

Cerritos Beach is not a camping beach any more. You can camp a little south but better choice is the old San Pedrito Trailer Park. Two kinda hard
to see road entrances but they are there by the new bridge. Same info as you would find in travel books, etc. and nice camping ( no services).
Beer, tacos in Pescadero and TS.. Check out Baja Beans to feel local vibe?! Coolest spot in BCS this time of year! Tio

There are NO facilities at San Pedrito. Bring your own water and supplies, take everything when you leave. If you surf or kayak, or swim, it
doesn't get better than this with proximity to Pescadero.
Say, how's the 4 lane to Cabo doing? Lap of luxury when it's done.

Thanks all for the info. I think I stay at San Pedrito years ago. An old, now defunct, camp spot. It was really nice. Maybe I'll hit that place up
again. I thought maybe someone would have built it up into something by now. Cheers all. Off and on the road again.

Just to follow up. My friend and I ended up camping on the beach in the same spot we did years ago in San Pedrito. To access the camp site you take
the road to the right (heading north towards Todos Santos) and drive down and under the bridge. If you come to a locked gate, back up and stay to the
right and you'll end up on the beach. Beautiful spot. Dry camping only which is fine. Finally got a chance to use the porta potty. haha I'll update
with pictures later. Tomorrow we're off to Cabo Pulmo. Looking forward to that as well.

Aw damn. I really wanted to hook up. Sorry about that. I should have kept in
better touch. Ah well, next time or on my way back home. Met TioTomas this
morning. He came by to say hello and we had a nice chat. We're off to La Paz right now and then to the east cape. The weather here is chilly and wet
with fog all day.

Lee, Drove into Cabo yesterday to slide a few out the dirt road.
The new 4 lane is completely done (well, a bit of 2 lane action close to Cabo and the last bridge entering/exiting TS) Absolute bliss after the
months of downtown Bagdad conditions!

He's out on the East Cape in the Sun. Very little cell reception/ internet in the area so we probably will not hear from him/them for a while. Nice
guys! Their camp was littered with dishes and beer bottles and an empty Tequila bottle from the nite before?! Camp was dead quiet when I walked in
around 9am. Livin the Vida Loca. He should have lots of pics when he resurfaces! Tio

That's because I'm busy working on video and photos so that I can share the Baja love with everyone. If the lack of movement is related to the
consumption of alcohol the previous evening then that can be blamed on our hosts.

Pictures have been added to the website from Cabo Pulmo. We're in Los Brailles for a few days before heading north. Then it's off to Santiago for some
exploration. We met a really nice family in Cabo Pulmo, Kirby and kin, who are from Santiago and are going to give us the skinny on the area and a
tour of their mango/fruit farm. Very nice folks.
It's a tough one. Now I just need to make some money at this so I can keep shooting.

Amigo, Scott. Glad you're having fun! How do we access your website and blog/pics? I couldn't find it. Locals and surfers wanting legal access
have cut the fences across arroyos in many places near Vinorama! The
East Cape is beautiful beyond words. Looking forward to your video and pics. Que disfruta. Tio
