In June, 2006, I did a web page and features two of the Delicias restaurants... from that page:

Saturday afternoon we drove 5 miles down Hwy. 5 to Ejido Delicias (at Km. 35) for an early dinner at CHELO'S Restaurant.

Inside Chelo's place...

I had the breaded fish dinner (it was great).

Elizabeth had carne asada tacos... also very good.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUNDAY

We packed up camp and returned to Ejido Delicias for breakfast. This time, west, down the street from Chelo's to MARINA'S RESTAURANT.

A great breakfast of chorizo and eggs for me!

Campo Lupita is very near, almost across from the Colonio as you call it but it is called the "Poblado" to all in the area.

I know some people in this Campo and they say it is a good Campo.

There are homes for sale in every Campo along this area, take your pick, get Landlord history first. We're in Campo Playa Hermosa which is about two miles North.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

If you are familiar with facebook there is a group page there
called baja's south campos amigos.
You can post on it if you ask to join the group. Then you are in contact with almost 300 members of the South Campos area and camps.

I didn't think about that... Good idea, I'm on that page as well and it is a very useful tool for those of us not there full time. Otherwise, you could drive around camp to camp talking to anyone you see, they may know of something. Friendly folks in our area.
