La Paz RV Park
A friend asked about an RV Park in La Paz and I was under the impression that there were not any left, only those outside of town. Is this correct?
I search the forum and the last "La Paz RV Park" thread was in 2010 I believe. Is Marantha RV Park still recommended? Any others?
Thanks,
Ted

The Casa Blanca RV park is closed and is now a Medical Center.
Only the Marantha left.
This as of Saturday June 9, 2012.

captkw...I think that is the Maranatha RV park.
Yes they (me to) are strange to some...Christians.
but don't let that bother you as they won't be bothered by you (neither am I)
The coffee shop is owned by the sister of the Maranatha owner and it is a long story of inheritance from parents...the coffee is good though, much
like a starbucks kind of serving.
The park has a pool, laundry rooms and plenty of peace and quiet. Nice location with easy access to walmart for provisions.

Aquamarina use to be the best back in the day. Sure miss Richard/Mary.

The other RV park is the Hacienda Del Sol, near El Centenario.
On edit...I forgot to mention that we will be visiting there on the 28th of this month to check it out for a possible stay by us.

Eberhard at HDS is quite the character. We stopped by to visit his place a few years back to check it out. WE plan to stay there one of these years
so we can check the LaPaz area out more.
