Got a big vehicle ? Coming to Baja Sur ?

we would love to get 2 more ping pong tables for the kids here ...they are having a BLAST with the one our friend Bruce brought, and best of all, a little cash comes in every day which helps with the LONDON CALLING 2013 TRIP.

so...

I will happily pay up to $50 for a used but in great shape foldable ping pong table. But we need a vehicle to bring it down. They can be dropped off at the turnoff to Punta Abreojos (La Bocana) pitsto restaurant which is called ARMIDA'S. and she will have your cash waiting for you in dollars or pesos - whatever you prefer

H e l p Help Helpppppppppppppppp us

We played on a piece of plywood for years! Painted green. Just need the net and some paddles. Easier and cheaper to put together, verdad? You know I am a champion.:o:no::no: Tio

Isn't it just a 4x8 piece of plywood (I wood <sic> need to measure one)

Don't even need it green, just paddles and a net
and a couple of sawhorses to stand it on....

All of that is less than $50- of course it is not foldable, but oh well.

I would really prefer to have a table that we could esaily move from location to location since during the school year, it will be at school and during the summer, it can be at my house...

still looking for anyone who can bring one down ????? anyone ????

like I said - I am happy to pay $50 for a decent one.

we also need ping pong balls and more rackets .... second hand rackets would be awesome !!

Blanca, I have one sitting in our place at Arrowhead which may fit the bill; but it won't fit in my Suburban unless I disassemble it (and even then I'm not sure if it will fit) but I'm willing to give it a try. We'll be coming down to Mulege for 4th of July and could drop it off at the Abreojos turn-off on July 4 on our way from San Quintin to Mulege. Let me know if that would work (disassembled) and I'll see if it will fit in my Suburban when I go up to Arrowhead this weekend. $50 is fine; I'll throw in whatever paddles we have (along with the net, of course). It's in decent shape.

Well, we tried to fit the table in the back of the Suburban over the weekend but no luck; it was about 4" too wide to fit in the back. And we thought about tying the pieces to the top of the car, but I kept having visions of seeing it flying off in my rear view mirror and smacking the car behind me, so unfortunately it doesn't look like it will work. Someone with a camper or open bed truck would probably be the best candidate to bring one down.

Sorry Blanca; but hopefully I can find a few paddles & ping pong balls to bring down your way. Can any other Nomads out there make this happen?!

thanks so much for trying ! kids are already on vacation and could use some tables outside of school grounds .... I think our best bet is a camper or better yet, a motorhome.
