For CURP number issuance in Ensenada go to the new Federal building across from El Cipres, the brown one, not the white State building. First floor. There is a line just for CURP in the large room that takes care of all Federal Official documents.

yup, right you all are, I tried inputting Les's information and his name does NOT show up witha CURP. So, obviously immigration did make up a number. I stand corrected and I guess I was reissued a number when I got to Mexico City to finalize my citizenship status. sorry.
