Vizcaino restaurant MARTITHA (free wifi)

Last week we went to do some repair work to our Geo tracker in Vizcaino - having some time to kill, we walked over to MARTITHA'S restaurant. It looks American inside but the fare is most defintely Mexican. We were pleasantly surprised that it has free wi-fi. So, for those headed south or north, look for the bright orange building next to a hotel, on what I presume is the East side of town ( I have zero ability as to direction). At any rate, if you are going north, it is on your right. Stop in, relax for a moment and write to amigos:

If you see the northernmost PEMEX, you have gone too far. If you see the bus station, you have gone too far. If you see the Bancomer, you have gone too far.

I forgot to mention that they have a TV. While we were lunching, Brazil was playing Poland in volleyball. My husband showed his true colors when Poland lost and he was NOT happy about it .... but guess who was ???? yup.

:bounce:

We noticed the free WiFi...we had plenty of time to look around as our service was horrible....food was okay but overpriced....

We like the green place across the street...near the Y intersection headed towards BA....the names alludes me....

bad service ? as in they took to long or ???? we had excellent service. oh well.

we usually go to the little place down the street - a hole in the wall that is GREAT called Restauran Oasis - right next to the bus station. Very good - limited menu but OK prices.

Martitas used to be excellent but it has gone a bit downhill this last year in service for sure and has higher prices than most places but they give facturas so lots of business people eat there...it's usually fairly cool in there making it a good place to wait for repairs though for sure! And they often have nice flavored natural waters...or juices like melon, pineapple etc.

We eat at the little restaurant beside Sotres supermarket on the main highway...good mexican food at decent prices.
