My wife just renewed her FM3 and sure enough it has a CURP number on it this time. Now she can sign up for the free (BASIC) health and dental insurance

That's what my friend is trying to do. He's been told NO with a FM 3. He went to sign up in La Ribera (BCS) and was denied
We are going into San Jose tomorrow to see if they can get their curp. Then hopefully we will all sign up for health insurance

Curp card

To get your CURP, you will need the original and a copy of your No Immigrate (FM3) visa card, and your passport and a copy of the date/picture page.

In fact my wife who is Mexican got my card and I was at home

With an inmigrado credencial I got a CURP automatically. When I went to the centro de salud last week they had my number in the computer.

Thanks for all the input. We happen to be Mexican citizens so it was very easy, just go to the curp office they will print out the card. My friends have FM3 that's taking a little longer. Once we figured out they needed to go to immigration not the curp office that helped. Then got u2u from a nomad telling me who they used in Los Barriles. They went there, paid 200 peso and it'll be done first of next week. Easier than going to La Paz. Next stop getting Seguro Popular, we have found the office in San Jose.
That's for next week
