Sprint also does NOT work on the San Felipe side... I believe only AT&T does as stated.

Mood: Anxious to get south

Your Verizon will work in Mexicali but only for about 25 miles south of the border but there will be very stiff roaming charges. After that no service for Verizon.

We have a beach house 25 miles south of the arches in San Felipe and get AT&T perfectly but lose coverage about 7 miles south of that.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Verizon will work in LaPaz and probably in Los Cabos. And to Ensenada and after that zilch.

We have the Verizon Mexico and Canada plan added and it's no good.

Verizon in Baja

If you look at a Verizon service/coverage map for Baja you will see small "bubbles" of coverage around cruise ship ports of call, the Mexicali area and a strip of coverage between Ensenada north to the border.

Att works all the way down, when I helped deliver a boat to Cabo, everyone onboard had to borrow my AT&T.
