Any Updates on This Week's Changes to the San Ysidro Border Crossing?

Tomorrow, we are picking our daughter up in Tijuana. She usually walks across from the trolley stop and meets us at the big McDonald's just at the end of the pedestrian bridge.

Has anything substantially changed that would affect that pickup?

Thanks for any info.

I just crossed South bound at 4PM and traffic was flowing. No changes to anything except for the far left lane being closed off on the US side.

I walked across yesterday, all good. Hard to tell a difference really, except for the nice new pedestrian bridge. Was there an issue with the old crossing??

My daughter and I walked across northbound about 3:30 pm both Monday and Wed. this week after visiting our dentist. It was like old times, Monday took about 10 minutes and Wed. there was simply no line at all and the crossing took just a couple of minutes. Far different than a few months ago when at the same time of day it took over an hour. As of yesterday ped crossing both north and south is on the east side of freeway where the trolley station is.

FWIW, they have done an admirable job on the construction vs. delays lately.

Have had guests in from USA past week. Crossed Monday north @ SY, 34 minutes in the afternoon. Wednesday north, 36 minutes at noon. The "double stack" on the left hand bank is working well.
