Try again when you're sober. Your post makes no sense. If you need help, give us information we can understand, use, act on.

Whoa!

LB is what I'll have to say is Loreto Bay. It's very clear to me that the Grandmother is being careful not to upset anyone while searching for her Grand kids. I see NO indications in her post that she was "drunk" while writing.

Good luck to you Sallysouth

LB is Los Barriles in this case since the subject is La Ribera which was misspelled. Sally was there maybe shock or just ill feelings with Juanita's husband? Time heals, I hope, these wounds

A little info might go a long way. I'm sure your granddaughters and their father have names and are subject to some form of physical description.

I've seen plenty of pictures on this site.

Perhaps a less ambiguous request, something more than gender and geography, would yield better results.

"with all you've been thru i was shocked by the tone of the poster here who criticized you in such a sour manner. "

I have to admit that I, too, was wondering what was up with the original post(now appears to be removed?). I know plenty of people in La Ribera and if names had been used help could possibly have been offered. There were several parts of the post that were confusing to me.

It also appears that there was/is something before this post that I, and apparently, Osprey, clearly have no idea what is going on. So, I hope this lady gets the results from her post that she wants and sorry I couldn't be of any help. Good luck.

Sally, you did what moms and grandmothers do best. You provided warmth, shelter, love and happiness in a time of darkness. Becky and I hope and pray your precious grand daughters are happy. Butterflies, labybugs and little girls caring so much about life. Thanks for sharing.

Funny how in Mexico the 'b' and 'v' are interchangeable ...

Buena = Vuena
Ribera = Rivera

The snowbird gringos (almost none of them Nomads) trickle back into this little village of 2000 people every October. LB to us, in East Cape, kinda means Los Barilles just 22 miles northeast of us by the highway. McFez thought LB meant Loreto Bay.

I didn't read the long thread about family problems in Baja Norte in much the same way those Nomads along the border sometimes take little interest to us waaay down south here. Nothing wrong with any of that but a skewed cry for help caught my eye and I asked for clarification -- can I help? That was my question.

When Nomads see any chance to help, they'll all jump in. Me included but I thought maybe somebody was being just too elusive or vague.

I'm a writer and I can tell you the name of this little village is La Ribera. It means a place by shore. We have a new marina here called Cabo Riviera which means "The end of the land". It's already been taken: Finnesterra or Land's End.

Why would most of the 8000 Nomads along the border assume all of us down this way would be obligated to read ALL THE POSTS, BE SENSITIVE TO ANY CALAMITY? I can assure you we don't/won't hold you to that -- we don't think you know our family situations, the names and ages of our kids or grandkids, our friends or loved ones.

This forum is for fishing and fun. Use it anyway you like but don't be such herky jerky conclusion jumpers.

Por Favor.

The ads they send me are for Cabo Riviera - and La Ribera is still La Ribera. Maybe I need new glasses, but it looks like the Riviera spelling adds an i. I've never seen it as La Ribiera.

I have read every story you have posted and loved most all of them.I don't know what you are going though but please, get back to what you do so well.There is so much more to this forum than fishing and fun.There has been so much support from Nomads to those of us that have needed, asked for it.So sorry for your poor disposition, and I hope you find relief. What the heck are herky jerky conclusion jumpers?:lol:

Double slap

7999 BN's thought you were the jerk Osprey. Your original post was insulting with a dab of poor comprehensive skills (and you are a writer)!

Now you do it again.

Who may be the drunk one, is what I ask.
