San Felipe ultility services
Well someone here please give me a list (address if you can) of where to go in San Felipe for:
Phone
Internet
Paid television
I know..... I know :-) I have a house without these services for ten years now and now have a need for all of it.
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Phone and internet come from Telnor. There's a guy in the Ejido, behind Pelicano Market, name is Mario. Has Directv for very cheap. I don't have the
phone numbers available to me, as they are stuck to my refrigerator door in SF. I'm NOB now.
I do know that there are several other people on this forum that have those numbers, and I'm sure they will answer your post as soon as they read it.
What took you so long all of a sudden to want that stuff after 10 years?

when do you need?
There are usually delays in getting telephone and internet connections. Other options which are quick are cell service and a "dongle?" for your
computer. I believe telephone company will likely require you are there in order to process an order.
You might call Abril and ask her for suggestions.
We used Mario to connect to Direct Tv and was quick and HD worked when installed. like other poster we do not have numbers with us in Juneau. could
give you via email Amy new phone number and/or Abril. email if you want them

McFez, There is currently some delay in getting telephone and internet service as they are having some "issues" with their equipment. We've put our
name on "the list" and given them the contact number of a local friend who can meet them at the house if we are not in town. You may want to do this
too as it can be quite a while between when you ask for and receive service!
We have used Mario for Directv. He has good English skills and is usually pretty prompt in set up if he has the equipment available. His number is:
686-115-0708 or from the states: 011-52-1-686-115-0708
Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!

Like most others, the Internet and and telephone are from telenor in town. If you go around the round about go down the street the gas station is on,
Telnor is a couple blocks down on the left side. I use dish tv and took a receiver from home.. No problems. I used Mario when I first went down for
his free over the air tv but it got scrambled so often it became a nuisance just decided to pay for an extra receiver and set up my dish. Hope this
helps. Telenor is in the middle of offering higher speed Internet, so I am sure it is kind of hectic, but from what I understand all the bugs are not
ironed out yet. Hope this helps. You did not say what type television service you are looking for, dish or direct tv.

Hey McTv Fez
I have DirecTV at mi casa in Fenix. I bring down my receiver and it works great. I get SD Locals, but you probably will not, as you would be out of
the spot beam for your area.
Works great and I have been doing it for many years with no problem

Thanks everyone for the great information!
Yes.....we have been in SF for ten years and live as primitive tribesmen :-) for not having tele or phone at the house. Why? I go to Baja to get away
from all that. So nice to "slow down" for a few weeks without ringing phones and posting on some Baja Nomad board
We have renters for the house that are requesting the services..........
Ron........dont need that info......will be there Wednesday.
