Tripui rv park, A DUMP
I usually don't try to pass judgment on campgrounds in Baja. A little background, I have been camping in Baja beginning 1984 and have stayed in a lot
of different campgrounds. I even stayed at Tripui a couple of times before it burn to the ground. I have seen a lot of different conditions at camp
sites but Tripui was the worst.
We just stayed at Tripui on Oct 30, 2012. Tripui has not been cleaned, weeded, cared for in a long time. The bathrooms are disgusting and not fit for
use. Because of the lack of maintenance the bugs were over whelming. We spent the night only because we were tired and didn't want to drive any
longer.

Sounds terrible. Anyone around to collect money? There must be a local who knows why. Your post might save someone else from the same bad
experience! Tio

In the little shop next to the RV park they collected $15 USD and blew us off when we expressed our displeasure at the condition of the park.

The ramp, which has nothing to do with Tripui, was built by us gringos and was free for years.
Then the Mexicans (Some govt acronym, PROFEPA?)took over and started charging.
Then they built a new ramp.
Last I saw of all that they tried to charge me like $35 to launch...MY KAYAK!
Don't get me started on Tripui, unless you want a U2U

The bug life can be really brutal there during the chubasco season. As you know, tripui was built fairly inland and the seabreezes don't reach it.
When its hot and humid with bugs biting you at every opportunity it's hell to be in that rv campground.
Your only salvation are popsicles(paletas) at that little store next to tripui. Try the coconut flavored one.
