To give yourself a few more options you might look
a little south Rosarito, say down to La Mision
housing area, near La Fonda Rest., it would
only add 8 -12 mi. or so, it may give you
choices

May I Quietly Suggest

I do not know "M" in any manner, except for reading her posts on Baja Nomad over the years.

There seems to be a prevalent attitude that she is TMI here.

Well, why not, it is an open forum.

It seems that "M" is devastated by the recent events in her life - health and personal issues hitting her up like a hurricane, tsunami or earthquake, whatever you wish to imagine and she is seekiing reassurance from a community that gave her good memories and wants input.

Just my own two cents.

I'm thinking like Zac and Woody. Think I read too much into the thread's title? 'Supp with bashing Woody? Someone's a tad sensitive.

What Gypsy jan said.

Those boys-- DENNIS, Woody, Bajaboy, etc play rough, but I suspect they are all kittycats deep down. But Lee does pick up on sensitivity that is clearly situational, and maybe you boys could back off a bit.

M, I hope things go well for you, and that your life is a bed of roses soon. Men and health can be sooooo painful!

Disclaimer: I've neve met any of the above named people, or even etc. So i'm on everyone's side here-- even DK's. He is falls into the etc. category.

Reassurance from a community...

Hi Gypsy, Remember the last thread, WTF?? Where M unloaded and I tried to give her some advice along with you and others? Well, I asked her how things were going and she never once thanked any of us for our time and effort trying to help her, never mind her following up and letting us know what happened. So someone like this doesn't quite sit well with me...especially when I stuck up for her against the unemotional wolves here that were out to extinguish her drama filled posts.

M's posts have the gender gap thang going, no doubt.

But many of us, of all genders, are wondering WTF (yes, WTF) the personal anecdotes have to do with Baja?

The housing relocation search is legit but there's gotta be a better source for marital legal counseling than Nomads. With all the women's this and women's that orgs out there now, they should be easy to find. Cant some of you ladies help her out here???????

Gee, Goat I thought you would start a whole new thread on your favorite topic, American politics, and how Obama was going to close the great divide between the majority Republican Congress and the Presidency the next four years.

Problem here is the laundry woman doesn't really want help. What she wanted, and got in abundance, was attention and sympathy, but I guess that's a form of help if it's what she needed most.
I do wish her the best .......whatever that may be.

Oh, you would be surprised on the help she has received... because we (from the early days of Nomad and Amigos de Baja) know M and what a great lady and helpful she is. Now her posts admittedly haven't been very consistent or clear, but if any of us went through the same crap, ours wouldn't be either... So please give our beloved amiga a break from so much criticism and see if we can help her get back to Baja, where her heart is!

The web page I made 12 years ago for M's photos and story of El Tomatal is here: http://vivabaja.com/et
Her BBBB-1 party was in June, 2001: http://vivabaja.com/van1
Her BBBB-2 party was in Nov., 2001: http://vivabaja.com/bbbb2
Her BBBB-4 party was in Sept., 2002: http://vivabaja.com/bbbb4

Here's M and Graham Mackintosh at Viva Baja-3...

Yes, David, but even after I posted "Where's the thanks" and what happened with the legal issues that I and several other women Nomads spent alot of time answering, she, still goes on and on and her story has changed considerably. She supposedly had a lawyer, and she continues to allow Nomads to suggest an attorney, and she mentioned she was out on the street with an eviction notice last Wednesday. I said all this on previous posts and she still hasn't addressed the inquiries. When you ask for help, its only part of cyber etiquette to answer questions after others have offered suggestions and asked questions to clarify. I don't want to suggest she is looking for free room and board and free moving help from Nomads, but why is she not even reading over her own threads and commenting on the helpful suggestions of the Nomads? I'm with Dennis on this one.
