The cats asked to inquire about the "Baja Babes" and who were the members. They heard there is some history there that may help clarify this thread.

If this isn't relevant pay it no mind.

How dare you insult me like that, Rat. I am paying my own rent in Baja. I don't see anyone insinuating that Emilia the medical student is a gold digger. People send her money all the time and there is an understanding that a student in medical school cannot work especially when they are in their internship as I was. No one on this board except Dennis ever offered me a dime when I was in school, so you are dead wrong. I have spent countless hours in the Baja Community giving medical advice for free. All the more that I needed the income because my daughter, 12 years old at the time, was going to a school that would prepare her for her transition for school in the US. But I had to leave Mexico after I finished medical school because I do own my own house in Hawaii and have tenants. I don't need anyone's help, because I make $50 US dollars an hour in the US and in January, I have been contracted with one of the biggest resorts in Baja as their physician. But people like you don't need to know the details, that's why I guess your name is Rat. I only live with people I care about, so my offer to stay at Dennis' was not mercernary. I have many monetary offers for my services but because of the commitment and time element, as well as not wanting to get involved on a personal level, I don't do it. Dennis has so many expenses now because of his illness that he can't be giving money to others, but I stopped and saw him the other day to see how he was doing. I appreciate everything he did for me and I reciprocated as best I could when I helped him the first few crucial weeks of his stroke.

Yes, David, but even after I posted "Where's the thanks" and what happened with the legal issues that I and several other women Nomads spent alot of time answering, she, still goes on and on and her story has changed considerably. She supposedly had a lawyer, and she continues to allow Nomads to suggest an attorney, and she mentioned she was out on the street with an eviction notice last Wednesday. I said all this on previous posts and she still hasn't addressed the inquiries. When you ask for help, its only part of cyber etiquette to answer questions after others have offered suggestions and asked questions to clarify. I don't want to suggest she is looking for free room and board and free moving help from Nomads, but why is she not even reading over her own threads and commenting on the helpful suggestions of the Nomads? I'm with Dennis on this one.

Maybe she grew tired of the "virtual, cyber-colonoscopy" you seem intent on giving her, Doc? Nag, nag, nag..............

It seems that most ALL the posts you touch, lately, turn into something out of Dear Abby, Doc. Sometimes you're the cause; sometimes you're the effect.

But, as always, your thinly veiled pleas for attention come booming through.......

I think maybe she's realized that this is NOT the proper forum for sharing her situation and she's backing off. Cant you do the same, fer chrissakes?????

Hook nailed it. Try accepting Hook's comments with the possibility of truth. And why don't you consider leaving ''M'' alone -- and stop judging her.

I say what I think, sorry if you don't like it. You guys say whatever you like. You can think what ever you like, why I make my comments, i.e. attention. That's all a figment of your imagination. M came here for help, I as well as Gypsy and Paulina gave her help. So, again, have a wonderful day, y'all!!!

The threads you participates in "Doc" morph into something about poor you much of the time, sorry sometimes medicine tastes bad. If people went to the off topic and saw the crap and ripping you give others they would see why many of us find your conversation tiresome

I have a position as a Physician in a Baja resort when I come back in January. So I am doing just great!! Don't need your money or anyone else's, I have my own, and yes, I paid my way 100%. Have a great Holiday.

which resort has so much food poisoning that it needs a doctor on site??? :?::?::?::?:

seriously, why does any resort need a doctor? seems like in rare event someone gets ill, they take them to a local doc and bob's your uncle!

what's the pay for being Doc Adam Bricker?

Enquiring minds want to know...

Goat,

I do appreciate your interest...but considering the wealth and scope of support of my career and persona on this board I will give no other information on this topic except this, the pay is better than Similares....oh by the way, I think there was an opening for a hydrologist, after all, we are in desert territory and water is scarce. And for all of you Baja romantics, next stop, Ensenada!!

The worm certainly turned in this topic. One of the things I like about this site is I never know where a topic is going to go. Example, the young family who's boat crashed turned out to be a wanted guy a so forth. Please keep up the great post guys very entertaining.:bounce:

I've known M for years. I consider her a good, close friend. When I give "help" to a friend, or to an acquaintance for that matter, I do it without expecting anything in return. I'm not looking for a public thank you. I know what she is going through all too well. We should be the last of her worries.

You always seem to come up with coments that are so vague, and out of place, I can't even comprehend them. I can ONLY gather how they make me FEEL. This comment is so vague, but obviously, meant to be obnoxious. Your going to have to learn more words.
So, what's up?
I'm looking forward to a gathering when we can all get together and become amigo's. Of course, you don;t know me, but, do you know, I'm a great friend to anybody I can help? DESPITE my own problems? Why do you usually attack first, distressed woman?
Hmmmm? Maybe you only relate to men in a decent fashion?
Hmmmm?
I'm a smart burro also Woody, When I'm up to speed, you might suffer a bit, ON BEHALF OF all good Baja women, subjected to folk who can default condemn and hurt, I am ending with, be kind, accept new friends, these are the people who will be talking at your funeral. I myself prey for a better legacy, and for you too, but, to each is own. I do want to believe your a good man. So far, you need to work on proving it.
I have learned from many experts, that to attack with no reason, especially a woman, is a fluent example of....well, I just won't say it. Hit the books yourself.
M

Whoa, M! I don't know Woody and I don't know you, but it seems like you went off on him without really being provoked. I did not find his remark obnoxious at all...as a matter of fact his remark says exactly what I thought I was getting into when I clicked on this link. From the title of your post I thought I'd be answering some poll about where in Baja I would live if given the choice. So sorry for whatever is going on in your life, but try not to read insults into simple remards. Good luck for a better life!

Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!
