Jim, if you go online, you can print out the application form, call them for the exact amount, send them a check and the required paperwork, and they will send your plates and new title to whatever address you choose. Lynne and I have both done it and now we have even gone through renewal on Lynne's plates. Really easy and cheap.

I just called them yesterday..
The title on the vehicle was not clean.
I am the 3rd owner and there are only hand written bills of sale and the vehicle has not been registered for 8 years.

No problem...."just send us those bills of sale and the original signed off title, plus $50 penalty for the years not registered"

Total cost for one years registration and title, including penalty was $106.63.

Needed docs are a copy of your SSN, drivers license copy and downloadable form MV 608.

This week I have been from Cabo to Todos Santos and up to Los Barriles and man there are a ton of folks from South Dakota that have infiltrated Mexico:lol:

Guilty as charged. I have also noticed a lot more S.D. plates than in the past.
