4x4 suspension mechanic
I am in need of a mechanic in La Paz or Cabo to work on ford van 4x4 suspension. The rains and roads have left me with some annoying squeaks/noises.
The wife's threatening to stop driving with me if I can't get em fixed. ( I know that might be a good thing but she's got the gas $$$) I am located in
Cerritos so I can go either way. Any suggestions ?

You probably need to replace a lot of your old rubber bushings with some polyurethane ones. Doubt they will be have that. Maybe you can get them from
the States, somehow.
I'd start with the sway bar bushings and the leaf bushings. Maybe that's all you need right now.
Here's a link to Summit Racing. Good prices, good purchasing software.

My Ford Ranger exhibited a fair amount of squeaking after installing add-a-leafs in the rear spring packs, and the leafs began to rust.
I would suggest using a can of WD-40 as a temporary remedy against this squeaking.

Mud, dirt, or rust between the leaf springs can make annoying squeaks. Hose them off with water under pressure. Jacking up the corner of the van
(edited to add: jack from the frame or bumper, not under the axle) will slightly separate the leaves, allowing for a more thorough spray cleaning.
Spray liberally with WD40 or a better penetrant, such as, Liquid Wrench.
If that doesn't resolve the squeaks, then try the suggestions from the above posts on the rubber/urethane bushings. Most likely you won't need a
mechanic to get rid of the squeaks.
Your van is probably due for a mechanic to inspect the bushings, tie rod end joints, and ball joints (if front Dana 44 front axle) or trunnions (if
Dana 60 axle). If you have a Quigley conversion (coil spring front suspension), then pay particular attention to the control arm bushings and inspect
the arms for cracks (early type arms, which have been replaced by a stronger design).
Finding and getting parts may be tricky. You didn't specify the year and name of the conversion company. Replacement parts can be ordered through
Quigley in Pennsylvania.
If you have a Pathfinder or Advance Four Wheel Drive (in Utah) conversion, I can give you the contact info for the guy who knows and sells replacement
parts.

Try asking for a Taller de Muelles. (tah-YER de MWAY-es)
The professional stuff for leaf springs is a mix of stoddard solvent and colloidal graphite. Molybdenum Disulphide colloidal blend is also good. Both
of these are good for several years.

Back when I was in High School I worked in a Filling Station and when we had a vehicle on the rack we sprayed all the rubber bushings with a solution
called Ru Glyde it was primarily used to lubricate the rim so a tubeless tire would slip on easily. Tbeless Tires were a new thing back then.

We just had all our bushings in the front replaced as well as front breaks for about 6000 pesos at Suspension Guicho in La Paz. They called with a
quote ahead of time and that was what it ended up being, no surprises. They even sand blasted and repainted the control arms (?) to match our jeep.
They did a great job according to hubby. If you go into Llantera Surf Shop in Pescadero, they can make the call and hook you up.
