I mean....it must be difficult for a segment of our society to be confined to Country Clubs and Bentley dealerships. That's just no way to live.

yeah, I just hate it out here

Those out in the valley would be the former and their hard earned reputation is less than stellar.
Maybe be more specific in what you want....area...lease land or own...etc...... for best results here on the board.

I tell you. There ia another type of real estate agent in Loreto now. The self serving ones looking for a fast and easy buck they think and some type of power because there have no real talent of their own rather except for in their own minds. They want info on everyone elses life cuz they appear to feel entitled to a piece of what other hard working people have earned. A psychologist would say this is some kind of result of poor launching and bad parenting. Mexico doesn't really need anymore codependent, temper tantrum using 2 year old mentalities to rip off the Mexican people's progress and economical development. Get a life of your own I say and quit using your B and B for tourist traps to sell realestate. and for the sake of decency quit using the title real estate agent for snooping into other people's privacy. By the way how about that IVA tax?

Are these expats looking to burn their own, or nationals.
Whatever they are, the fact is that RE Slimes have no overseeing agency to monitor their activities. They seem to be immune to laws pertaining to fraud and it remains a 'Buyer beware" situation.
Years back in Ensenada[and I have no idea if this has changed or not] Mexican RE companies would take a listing to sell a property for a certain ammount and without discussing it with the seller they would raise the price to whatever they wanted and keep everything over the listing price, as well as their commission.

I was saddened to hear a story where one particular agent has a nasty habit of lo balling sellers just to discourage them into selling out cheap. I talked with a couple who was sadddened and DISCOURAGED AT ONE OF THE OFFERS they received by this scammer and then heard later the agent really wants the house for herself. The couple could not believe the attempted manipulation.I was not surprised to hear this agent is actually looking to buy a "deal " herself as my experience of this person is a righteous case of entitlement or it should all be mine if you are over 60 and ready to die anyway. Also goes around trying to steal listings from an agent with much more integrity and less greed. last I heard sthis agent made a 40,000 dooar closing error becuase she forgot IVA tax. and experienced absoultely NO consequences

Maybe clean this up a bit using less direct accusations and expose her here. Be creative and do the world a favor.
Thanks.

Having held a Broker's lic. for some time in the State of Missouri and a Apraisal lic. in Ca. 99% of the R.E. Law is written to Protect the Unethical Practice's of the Agency (agent) Not the consumer.
