i hear just tonight that it did finally open a couple weeks ago...we had heard all kinds of rumors about the whole place being sold and ray moving on but now it seems it is actually functioning as "ray's" once again...will know more when we go there next week...a great place to experience a sunset!!...with fab food!!!

I love the Mexican Rumor Mill. Ray opened up right after Jan 1. We have been there several times. New stairs leading up to the restaurant which are a big improvement, new roof, and several nice touches to the interior. Bathrooms are redone as well.
Licho Ortega was playing there both nights we were there and the food was better than ever.

There have been lots of phone calls about our opening and we have had a few false starts but we officially opened the doors January 3. Our plans are to be open as usual Thurs, Friday, and Saturday. We will also be having a Sunday brunch which will be announced soon. Hope to see you soon,
