It's not just the current lot. Look at how 9/11 was used to enact the measures that this post
is about and many others.| Quote: | | Originally posted by David K

Now why did much of the Media fail to report that???????? (duh, they have an agenda)

Bingo... the current lot in power and their loving media have pledged to never let a crisis fail to be exploited and used to further their conquest of
our freedoms!

That's what I believe, coming back you give up some
of your rights, they can take a part your vehicle, search
your person, I'm sure they could find some reasonable
cause, although I don't believe they need that

It seems incongruous that you would be so worried about your 2nd amendment rights yet
you don't have a problem with giving up your 4th amendment rights.| Quote: | | Originally posted by MrBillM Simple.

The Patriot Act was made to protect Americans... (remember we were attacked with more deaths than Pearl Harbor, and to mostly civilians). It wasn't
considered to be used against Americans... that is until this bunch took over. (this is a reply is to monoloco and SF andH, not a new sidebar topic)

This discussion is starting to border into the nebulous OFF-TOPIC discussion.
But if the Patriot Act is really enforced to the max, we would all lose our guns.

I would argue that the Patriot Act and the DHS was a power grab by both sides of the political spectrum, and
was absolutely designed to be used against Americans. Remember that Hitler used the bombing of the Reichstag as a reason to suspend civil liberties in
Germany. Don't think it can't happen in the US.| Quote: | | Originally posted by David K The Patriot Act was made to protect Americans... (remember we were attacked with more deaths than Pearl Harbor, and to mostly civilians). It wasn't

 As long as it stays
civil, I would think that a discussion about border issues is Baja related.| Quote: | | Originally posted by Udo This discussion is starting to border into the nebulous OFF-TOPIC discussion.

Wow. No arms. You must hate that. You must be scared to death to not be able to defend yourself. But, like you say, no problems.

You have got to be kidding........that is an epic joke David.

 Guess we will respectfully disagree.

The Obama administration mirrors the Bush administration on this issue and is only slightly less as incompetent.

I didn't say it did work or if I agreed with it... I only say what the purpose or goal was... remember OUR representatives report to us and take to
Washington what our concerns are.

Hahahahaha....David, David, David. Please join the real world. About 60 seconds after the election results are announced, the people we elect
immediately forget that they work for us and are only in the game for themselves.
