Will be heading to Guerrero Negro soon; does anyone have recommendations for a hotel there, oh and restaurants too. Gracias.

You've got to be kidding. There are volumes and volumes here about GN. Try a search, first!

Hey Zapatec, we were in Guerrero Negro in November and stayed two nights at the Malarimo. Nice place, Very comfortable. The restaurant was good and all was very reasonably priced. We were going to stay at the Caracol which I understand is nice too but liked the looks of the Malarimo better. BTW, we found a great taco place just down the road from there called Mariscos Mazatlan. Excellent camerones enchilados tacos! Have fun.

Lee-after 69 posts you would think I knew about the search feature? Thank you for the clue.

Blair-Mooochas gracias for the recommendations; will make a reservation at the hotel and will certainly try the Mariscos Mazatlan.

democracy/voting just yields the average. the cowboy is new and sterile, but some people like that, eh?

in my personal opinion, and the opinion of many others, the best is malarimo. but i am sure others disagree :lol::lol::lol:

p.s. this time of year the weather is cool, the whales are in bloom, and tourists are rolling thru, so call ahead for reservation at whatever hotel you choose

Some of the menu prices offered in Guerrero Negro restaurants seem to be overly proud of their fare.

Yes many are quite pricey for what they are. Not too long ago we tried the fairly new Chinese Please and it was VERY pricey.

Have a great trip.

Zapotec, Caramba! 69 posts! One would think you would have read the multitude of contario opinions regarding GN Motel opinions?! You lose eesteem by putting down Nomads, verdad! Just go for it and then post your opinions. I don't like most in the area and prefer to camp but won't say where. Be nice. Tio
