Somehow at 8.5 posts per day for the last 11 years (and that's just this forum) I don't see your freedom of posting being restricted. Most people do not have the time to post that much.

Open your eyes goat... stop swallowing the lies and just try and live without government womb to the tomb controls on real freedom. The Republicans are who freed the slaves in the 1800's and passed the Civil Rights bill in the 1960's. We don't use people's color to get votes by catering to special interests that use people. Martin Luther King's ideas are conservative (to not judge by the color of your skin). Republicans in the senate of recent years were not who were KKK members. Why are blacks worse off than 4 years ago, more so than whites, who are also worse off, if liberalism was so good for them (or all of us)? Where are those 'Obama Bucks' they though voting for him would insure flowed to them? Why is health care costs going up? Why are more people on Food-stamps than in our history? Why is unemployment unchanged from 4 years ago (and that's not considering the millions who are no longer counted)? And, for Ralph concerned about me being here so much: Why doesn't anyone have money to upgrade or repair their irrigation or install new???

Stayed tuned----more Faux twist, spin and creative news at 8.:lol::lol:

Even the conservative party does not want to go back to what they were. They are "reinventing" themselves to attract voters. From everything I read and hear it is getting better. People that want to work are getting jobs and spending money. Maybe its because people are looking for a Licensed contractor. By the way did you read about the crackdown on the unlicensed in your are?

No, but I know a Baja Nomad who is a pool contractor here in Oceanside... and I happily refer Baja Nomads!

Those two were Democratic-Lite... but still got my support over the socialist who won both times. Lesser of two evils, they say? Conservatives just didn't come out and vote, the data showed... Too bad America has to suffer in the meantime.

Oh, and Ralph, when you actually live in my state and do something to your property to improve it with all that stock market money you brag about having made, I will be happy to show you my license and my associates with landscape contractors licenses whom I also sub under. Nice attempt at a little personal jab there, you sleep well trying to hurt others?

[Edited on 3-18-2013 by David K]

Just the facts, Dave. Just the facts
Not trying to hurt anyone. Don't have that much in stocks, anymore since I have been retired (pulled most of them before the last dump) and spent most of my life in Kalifornia (before you were born until 1994 except for time in school etc. and for those that like to deal with licensed contractors no need for them to show a license.

Most of my time now is spent in Baja which is much more desirable than Califonia or aridZona.

Boy, you really don't know me!

I was with the first company the actively promoted using drip irrigation for landscape watering and alternatives to grass for ground cover... this was in 1980.

Because some people still wanted grass, I only install water saving low-flow sprinklers on water saving Marathon fescue grass, whenever I can. On slopes, I use check valved sprinklers, so water in the pipe doesn't pour down the slope at shut off. I use drip irrigation whenever appropriate and have even done under-lawn drip irrigation.

I haven't installed a new lawn in years, but last month my landscaper friend did, and he had me install all MP Rotators on it and Netafim emitterline on the planters.

I am also a certified Weathermatic Smartline installer. Smartline is a 'smart' controller that monitors the weather right there and adjusts how the irrigation runs based on climate, soil type, slope, plant type and irrigation type, per zone!

I have taught an adult education class on drip irrigation and co-authored a book, 'Irrigation Design', in 1992.

Anything else you might want to know about the dead horse I kick? :?::light::lol:

CHRIST!! I started this as a comment on the Hotel, Villa Bahia...now it has turned into a urinating contest. If I knew how to kill this thread I would. It's pretty sad when this type of thing ruins an important ( to me ) topic. Give it a rest people....

To bring it back on topic I will just say my experiences at the Villa Bahia have been great!!! Only been there twice but I dig the uniqueness and water front rooms.
